If you want a peaceful respite from traveling through France, make a stop here to enjoy the stunning grounds, excellent food, comfortable modern rooms and accommodating staff. This hotel within a winery is modern and up to date, while maintaining the charm with buildings from the 17th Century. The ultra modern sculptures that pepper the grounds are “interesting” to say the least but no matter your taste, don’t take away from the sculptured landscape. The pool is modern and sizable while the gym is good for only two. The two five star restaurants offer Japanese and French cuisine and there are daily wine tastings in the ample sized bar off the lobby. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms large. Don’t forget a trip into Aix de Provence for the 365 day open market and endless streets of shops.

We recently spent four nights here and i can't rave enough! We made reservations primarily based on reviews we read here and we thought the hotel was even better. We were traveling as a family with our teenage daughter and booked the junior suite which was perfect. A large room by European standards and it was perfect. We had a fold out twin bed and we could move around the room with it open. The location was great - close enough to everything but not overrun by street noise and busy crowds. We walked to dinner every night and one restaurant was better than the next. We spend one day in Aix-en-Provence and did day trips the other days. There was so much to see and visit in the area but more about the hotel. The front desk staff were so nice and so helpful. Mostly younger but so attentive and helpful making reservations for us, changing tickets to a site we booked when our daughter wasn't feeling well and offering great suggestions. The breakfast was also a big hit. I would recommend getting it included. There is a beautiful outdoor garden to eat in. Plentiful food and great variety from bacon and eggs to a continental breakfast of pastries and fruit. Lastly, we booked the parking spot which was a big plus. It was a short walk from the lobby and it was great to not have to worry when we returned from our adventures about where to park. Can't recommend enough. We look forward to returning.
Very comfortable hotel, everything worked ok in the room, tv, kettle, fridge, shower with good hot water. Everything was very clean and convenient. It also had a kitchenette with pans, pots, cutlery and crockery. Hotel is located right at the heart of the Village, walking distance to everything!. Special thanks to the reception staff that were super nice and Friendly. I stayed in Room 207, where there was zero noise from the street. Thanks!.🙂
We have spent one night in this hotel a few kilometers from the center of Aix en Provence. The check in was quick and smooth and our room spacious and fairly clean. It was a pleasure to enjoy the swimming pool on a hot day like the one we had. It was a good stay and very good value for money considering the high prices in high season.
Me quedé atónita. No tenían ni una botella de agua fria y eso que hacía mucho calor. Las recepcionistas muy poco profesionales. El desayuno era muy completo pero no había tostadora. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. Y dicen tener 4 estrellas.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe Hotel in Aix en Provence was a disaster. It is nothing like the pictures make it out to be on Trip advisor or anywhere. These are taken by a professional well photoshopped and are long stretch away from what you see in the pics. The room for 3 does not have space for bags in the bedroom and barely any space to walk over to the other side of the bed..I would say max 1.5ft. Once the sofa bed is laid out in the living area, there is no way to move within the room at all. The arm rests of the sofa beds are black while the sofa itself is brown. No different in any other room. The room stank of smoke and the floor boards were shredding in some parts esp the toilet. We moved out within a couple of hours and stayed at another property in Provence. Don't spoil your vacation by staying here.
Unexpectedly nice! We came to this hotel for one night because it's near the TGV station and we'd been unable to get into our hotel in Aix's old town until next day... This hotel turned out to have really comfortable well decorated modern rooms, excellent helpful staff and very generous extras: such as unlimited free mineral water and croissants in the hall, and free beer for anyone who didn't want to watch the rugby world cup in the restaurant/bar. (I should add that the hotel was quiet and so were the guests). A real effort has been made with the small landscaped garden and play areas, the swimming pool was clean and pleasant even though it was the end of the season, and the outlook very green over the golf course. The breakfast was absolutely the best I have ever had in France, with real French cheeses instead of the usual processed stuff, and fresh fruit and proper patisseries as well as eggs (and the meat was doubtless good too). The location was the main flaw for guests like us wishing to avoid using a car. It is a short taxi ride from the TGV station, but a half-hour bus journey to Aix proper through anodyne business areas. The other flaw - which wouldn't affect the sports fans or young families with cars who seem to be the usual guests - was the incredibly tiny bath. Sadly I fell trying to get out of that bath and am still dealing with the injury. I must add that we had come back again at very short notice for one further night, and again the staff were excellent and so was the room in all other respects...I should have used the shower that night instead!
This hotel is very nice if you have a car to get around. Free Parking. Bedrooms fine and quiet. Good outside grounds. Reception staff all helpful. Breakfast I thought was good. Especially liked you can juice your own oranges in the morning and fresh fruit salad not tinned.
The location in a forested undeveloped area is great. Good location if you want to walk in the ”forest” or is a visitor at CEREGE, which is a 15 min walk away through the ”forest”. Rooms are very standard, but everything worked and the bathroom was nice and spacious. Staff was kind. Breakfast was good and the shared facilities are attractive. However, I am not satisfied with the booking experience: There are way too many options available and the difference between them is not clear. I booked a nonreimbursable B&B rate which was a bit cheaper on the booking page, but ended up being charged the full list price with breakfast billed separately. So ”B&B” does not mean bed and breakfast here. I pointed this out afterwards by e-mail, and have had no reply from the hotel at this time (2-3 days later).
The location near the motorway but still in a quiet area was really good. The pool and restaurant were excellent and all the people working there were really nice and helpful. We had a problem with the room that smelled of cigarette. The lady from the reception provided an air purifier and it helped. The cleaning of the room could be better.
6610chiarahThe hotel is very run down. The air conditioning was not working but you could not open the windows at night because of the noise from the motorway running alongside. Also the music the hotel plays throughout the public areas goes on 24/7 With a speaker on the patio area below our room it meant that even with the window shut there was a constant bass beat we couldn’t get away from. Despite requests to the hotel from our wonderful tour guide nothing was done. Temperature in the bedroom was 25c. Do not eat at the hotel, the food is abysmal and very expensive. The grounds and pool are not maintained and filthy, the litter bins outside reception overflowing. The only positives are the towels and bedding are new and plentiful and the supplied toiletries are high end, good quality.
Good morning, I write this expressing my extreme dissatisfaction with your service. I had a booking with arrival on the 6th July and departure on the 9th in the name of Fredric Baraza. I communicated by phone call to the hotel that I would not arriving on the 6th but rather on the 7th of July as I had other engagements that required me to push my flight. I arrived at the facility on the 7th and to my dismay I was informed that I had a booking for only one night. A staff came into my room in the morning to inform me that I was not supposed to be in the room, which extremely infuriated me and I was left with no option but to leave the room. I write this; 1. To seek a refund for my funds already taken from my account. 2. To express my extreme dissatisfaction with your service.
