"We are currently enjoying our stay at NRMA Airlie Beach. The past few weeks have been unseasonably wet so that would account for muddy, wet campsites as previously mentioned. The grounds are well maintained with an abundance of tropical plants and a leafy outlook. There is a supermarket, bakery and butcher all within an easy walk. Airlie Beach is walkable for the fit and is extremely enjoyable along the winding boardwalk. Staff at the park are friendly and accommodating and offer a variety of social activities for guests on a weekly basis. I think more campers should avail themselves of these as they are a good way to meet others. On offer is Bingo, Music trivia, happy hour, etc. As travellers these days are travelling with some extremely large vans I see assistance with parking as a genuine need, as most of the sites are close together. Generally, our experience here has been a good one. Congratulations! We have already booked again. "

"The facilities are old, but they've been remodeled well, so there were no inconveniences during our stay. The location is also excellent. It's right next to Woolworths, making grocery shopping convenient. The lagoon is less than a 10-minute walk, making most of Airlie Beach's major attractions within walking distance. The main marina is a bit of a walk, but it's still within walking distance. The views from the living room and veranda were the best part of this property. The rooms were spacious, and the living room and kitchen were also spacious, making it comfortable for four people. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Airlie Beach. The occasional Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is both a plus and a minus. Haha."

"This is a great place to stay in Airlie beach. The location is perfect, close to the main parts of town but far enough to be quiet. The views from the terrace and pool area are amazing. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped with cooking utensils etc. We appreciated the complimentary beach/pool towels, umbrellas, sunscreen and insect spray. The owner is very friendly. The parking was easy and the place easy to find. Overall we would strongly recommend this place to anyone in the area!"

"We recently stayed at this hotel (last minute booking due to limited availability in Airlie beach during xmas period) and, unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations for this over rated 5 star hotel. The cleanliness was disappointing. We found dust on the washing machine and noticed oil dripping down from the range hood filter—issues that clearly indicated a lack of attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance. The check-in process was poorly communicated. We were not informed ahead of time that there would be no staff on-site after 5 pm. As a result, our luggage was left outside the reception area, which felt both unprofessional and unfriendly. These two major issues left us feeling dissatisfied. Would not recommend!"

The hotel had its own restaurant, offering a simple breakfast of bread and milk. Choosing a hotel in the Whitsunday Islands is an important task! Because there are so many 45-degree slopes, this one wasn't on a slope."

"We had apartment 32 which had a wonderful view from the large balcony. The apartment itself was emasculate with everything you could need to be self contained. It wa a 15 minute safe walk into town where there was a large selection of bars and restaurants, s well as tourist tours. The walk back home ws a steep climb so if you are considering this apartment as an option you will need to be fit and not have small children or buggies to push or carry. There are taxis to take you back and fore which cost $11."
