"It was terrible! I feel so sorry for this hotel, because whoever owns it has clearly given it a lot of grief... The hotel itself is in a great location, right on the beach, with a wonderful view. This building could have been a great place to relax and stay, but alas. We arrived on the southern coast of Sri Lanka late in the evening and decided to spend the night somewhere, and then choose a place for a longer stay in daylight. We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay right on the beach. 1) When we entered the hotel, the first thing we noticed was the dirty glass partitions between the reception and the pool area. Yes, it's clear the hotel isn't exactly new, but it could have been kept clean. 2) When we went up to our room, I immediately noticed mouse droppings on the sofa, furniture, and floor, so we asked for cleaning. The cleaning consisted of a guy coming in, sweeping the floor, and then randomly waving a dry cloth over the surface. There was no strength to complain and we didn’t say anything 3) the bed linen consisted of different parts, i.e. one pillowcase from one, the second from another, the sheet from a third, the duvet cover from a fourth. And the linen was also very dirty, stained and dusty. I lay down in the middle of the bed and tried not to move all night, because there was a thick layer of dust and dirt around the perimeter of the bed 4) the whole bathroom was moldy, the shower, the sink, the faucet 5) some small bugs were crawling in the bathroom 6) my husband looked into the cabinets in the bathroom and warned me not to even think about opening them, so as not to be scared by the dirt 7) there was no hot water in the bathroom!)) I couldn’t take a shower after a long journey and my husband and I laughed that the bed was dirtier and I wouldn’t dirty it 8) and the icing on the cake was that either rats or mice were running around our room all night long. My husband woke up because they were running through our things and bags, chewing up a packet of cookies, and scurrying about all night. We woke up at 6 a.m. and literally fled that horrible place. I'll also mention the old furniture in the rooms and that we were overcharged by about 1,800 rubles for the night, which we realized as soon as we got up to our room. We wanted to sort it out in the morning, but in the morning all we wanted to do was run as far away as possible."

"We spent three beautiful days here. Though I’ve stayed at many hotels before, this is the only place that truly felt like a home away from home for our family. When booking, we secured an even better rate than expected—all arranged effortlessly through a single phone call! Upon arrival, the reception staff welcomed us with such warmth, and check-in took less than five minutes. Since the hotel wasn’t crowded during our stay, they upgraded one of our two rooms to a panoramic suite (higher category). Even though we’d forgotten to request adjoining rooms, they thoughtfully placed them side by side. The rooms were stunningly designed, spotlessly clean, and the beds? Pure comfort! Located just 5-6 meters from the ocean, lying in bed made us feel like we were floating mid-sea. Stepping onto the balcony was pure magic watching waves crash against rocks, sunlight glinting off foam like "liquid diamonds," paired perfectly with a glass of wine or beer. The staff treated us like family. My daughter cried when we left, heartbroken to say goodbye. Their year round private beach ,calm, swimmable waters adds immense value to the property. A heartfelt thank you to Manager Mr. Indika, my friend Sudesh, and the entire team for giving us the best vacation of our lives. We’ll definitely be back soon!"

"Overall, it's a good hotel with its own swimming pool. It's located between Ahangama and Koggala. There's a tuk-tuk stand right next door, which made it difficult for taxis to pick us up. The room was spacious, but the door was hard to open. The internet was terrible, practically non-existent."

"We were warmly welcomed and the service was excellent. Our room was very spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen. For breakfast, there were scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, and fresh coconut. We only stayed one night, but it was wonderful. The accommodation is located right next to a railway line. However, no trains ran at night. The beach and restaurants are a 5 to 10-minute walk away. The hotel also offers a tuk-tuk service if you don't want to walk. The service and cleanliness were very good!"
