Receptionist no eye contact booking in or out. Had to pay extra for breakfast after forking out £101 for a Monday night. Hair in the tea cup!

Nice enough accomodation in Portsmouth, but very disappointed to learn on arrival that the lift was not working. There are no porters either and although the (female) staff offered to assist with bags my son felt compelled to do all the heavy lifting. I had a great deal of difficulty doing tge stairs!!

Room was alot older and more run down than the pictures looked. Iron was broken. They brought a new one, it was burnt on the bottom. Furnishings & towels need to be replaced.

Older property in beautiful location. Comfortable bedding and room, stairs and hallways need some work. Did their best for us, but we would likely stay in a different hotel if we return to Aberystwyth.

The single bed room was clean but very small and cramped(built in under the eves of the building)It was also on suite but the shower was too small to stand in properly.I wouldn't want to stay more than one night in that particular room. The staff were courteous and what I saw of the hotel was clean and tidy.

Had planned afternoon tea but did not order in advance so unsuccessful. Breakfast food very good, little to no service except for a pot of tea. Staff pleasant but not highly welcoming. Location OK for walk along promenade but a good 8 to 10 minute walk to restaurants and cafes

Great waterfront view we had a renovated room which was Great.easy walking distance for those who are able to stores and pubs and the funicular Railway

Very high price for what is a relatively basic hotel. Spa facilities I can’t vouch for.
I stay in many hotels, frequently, and perhaps his was a high price because of low availability. But if you are looking at prices of circa £145 per night without breakfast, I think it’s worth shopping around.
