Paradores are generllay overpriced all over because usually you get truely historic hotels for mostly unjustified rates. This one makes a bit difference if you reach out for the tour operator rates of some spanish websites (60€/night double-room). They views are lovely (we had castle view) and the area is super quiet in the middle of the excellent Monterrei vineyards. We had a Wifi Outage (”manana” will be fixed which means in Spain, 3 days or 3 weeks) but the curly young lady at the reception made this difference: always positive thinking, complete comitted to fullfull 100% customer service it was just a pleasure for us to stay in this place. We didn't try the breakfast (city has some Spanish standard options) nor the dinner. Pool is closed till 15.6. every year!
