Ganz komisch! Es fing mit der Anreise an. Wo und wie man das Auto parken kann, ist schlecht und/oder unübersichtlich beschildert. Acht Euro pro Tag sind ok für eine Stadt wie Wetzlar. Dann eine eher semi freundliche Begrüßung. Danach einschreiben in eine Liste, wo man alle Daten der Teilnehmer einsehen, zum Thema Datenschutz... Also, auf zu dem Zimmer. Grüner Teppich mit Papageien:) Ok, über Geschmack lässt sich streiten... Aber worüber sich nicht streiten lässt, sind Haare und Schimmel im Bad... :€ Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad aber mehr als gewöhnungsbedürftig. Morgens, auf dem Weg zum Frühstück, den Anhänger mit der Bitte um Reinigung des Zimmers, was konsequent ignoriert wurde. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Ausgewogen und gut gefüllt. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und bemüht. Der Kaffee zur Pause bei der Tagung war nicht so heiss, es gab keinen Mülleimer, keine Löffel, aber leckere Snacks. Das Mittagessen nach Zeitvorgabe eine halbe Stunde bestand aus vegetarischer Lasagne, Fisch, Curry Geschnetzeltes und Beilagen. Alles eher mässig warm. Nachmittags bei der Pause die Snacks, sie morgens übrig blieben und lauwarmer Kaffee. Abendessen, gleiche Auswahl, andere Gerichte. Pommes und Schnitzel reichten für die Hälfte der Teilnehmer und der Rest musste warten... Getränke wurden direkt aus der Kiste verteilt und die Flaschen nicht geöffnet. Abgeräumt wurde auch nicht mehr. Am nächsten Tag das in etwa selbe. Ausser, dass der Service abends noch schlechter, nämlich quasi nicht vorhanden, war. Das Bier an der Theke war gut, auch hier wieder mäßiger Service. Sehr schade, aber ich hoffe, die nächste Tagung ist nicht wieder hier. Privat würde ich auch nicht unbedingt hier einkehren wollen. Wenn die Zimmer so gereinigt sind, möchte ich den Wellness Bereich gar nicht probieren. Ich bin leider echt enttäuscht...

Das Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber. Es gibt aber leider immer noch Abstandshinweise und ＜hinweise auf Desinfektionspflicht. Man kommt sich ein Bißchen vor wie auf einer Seuchenstation. Gefühlt ist man dann als Gast der vermentlche Virenüberträger. Das finden wir einem Gst gegenüber nicht gerade freundlich. GGetränkeautomat mit moderaten Peisen. Ungünstig ist die Übernachtung an heißen Sommertagen, weil man das Fenster kaum öffnen kann, weil dort dann die ganze ＜zeit über der ＜lärm von der Durchgangsstrasse tobt. Anderseits hat das ＜hotel ene schöne Terasse zur ＜lahn hin.

Es ist sehr selten, dass man sich als Gast im eigentlichen Sinne und nicht nur als zahlender Kunde fühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr üppig und es wird auch - problemlos und gerne - auf Sonderwünsche oder -bedürfnisse eingegangen. So ist es auch möglich, dass man spontan glutenfreie Backwaren bekommen kann. Das Hotel liegt mitten in einer Wohngegend, sodass es sehr ruhig und entspannt ist. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant mit einer übersichtlichen und zufriedenstellenden Karte. Dabei fällt auf, dass viele Besucher aus der näheren Umgebung zu kommen scheinen. Dies trägt zu einem gewissen Lokalkolorit bei und spricht gleichzeitig für die Küche und das ausgesprochen freundliche Personal.

Wonderful rooms. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Bed was great as was the selection of pillows. Great shower. The staff was friendly and professional. So why did I rate it average? This hotel is a fair distance from restaurants. If you don’t have a car(which we didn’t) the only choice is the hotel restaurant. Here is my big complaint: both nights of our stay the hotel bar and restaurant were not available for guests. They had booked private parties. Since there is no room service, the first night we had to find a taxi. The second night we found the situation too late and just did without. We were never informed of the situation when we booked the rooms. This is inexcusable, the first time I’ve encountered this inconvenience. Had we known, we probably would have stayed elsewhere. Beware!
