Also the staff declined my request to talk to the manager. The manager was very unfriendly to us and one of the staffs(might be the manager) yelled ”bravo” behind us when we left the restaurant after he agreed to waive the payment. An extremely unpleasant experience when traveling. However I would say most staffs remained professional and kept apologizing to my family and me.

|0.73km กม.จากตัวเมืองNous avons réservé une chambre supérieure pour 1 nuit et étions entre amis. Réception vieillotte, accueil sans plus. Etat général de l'hôtel très vieux!! mériterez un peu coup de rénovation. Lors de la réservation nous n'avons pas été informé qu'il fallait réserver le souper à l'hôtel (raison fermeture des restaurants pandémie). Alors lors de l'arrivée plus de possibilité de dîner le soir au restaurant. Nous avons du commander des pizzas et manger dans la chambre. Gros manque d'information, nous avons payé CHF 10 pour une place de parking qui n'était même pas à l'hôtel mais situé devant une entreprise. Nous avions une magnifique vue sur l'Eiger depuis la chambre. Les chambres sont vraiment très simple, nous avons payé environ CHF 190 par chambre, vraiment trop cher pour la qualité TRES standard et TRES simple. Gros manque d'insonorisation entre la Chambre et les bruits du couloirs. Pas de prise à la salle de bain. Traces d'usures sur les portes, stores cassés. Petit-déjeuner en supplément CHF 15 par personne = servis en chambre (cause de pandémie) pas la possibilité de choisir, croissant acheté en supermarché et chauffés au four. Café en poudre. Rien d'extraordinaire. Nous étions vraiment déçu.... Pour un hôtel Suisse et à ce prix, nous attendions un minimum de qualité.

Although not central or direct ski access, all areas, Bodmi, Eiger etc are well served with frequent reliable busses. Accomodation in the anex was clean with fantastic views, with a bit of noise from the main road, as our room had both front and back balcony. The anex rooms are spacious and modern. Rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fine. Buffet food and drinks to order. The evening set 4 course meal also was fair value ~45CHF it is a bit odd walking across the road for breakfast, but we knew that’s what we were getting if staying in the crystal lodge anex. Thank you

|0.6km กม.จากตัวเมืองWe were hiking from Schynige platte til First, and had clearly underestimated the hike and perhaps overestimated our own ability. When we reached First, the gondola down to Grindelwald was closed (for anyone else, please note that they close it rather early (17:30-18:00-ish) considering how long a hike it is from Schynige Platte, and start as early as possible, since it takes quite some time to even reach Schynige Platte with the mountain train from Wilderswil). We called the hotel, to let them know, that we were coming but it would take some time, as we had to walk down from First on very sore legs. Steffie from the reception (sorry if this is not the correct spelling of your name) was incredible kind, and tried to help us as best as possible, and directed us to the hotel halfway down, where we could try to call for a taxi. We made it to the hotel, and as luck would have it, a taxi pulled in at the same time, as it was driving some people up to the hotel up there. If you should happen to end up in the same situation, try calling a taxi and see if they will go all the way up to First. It should be possible but will of course cost a bit to get them up there. The hike down to the hotel halfway down was quite steep, so hard on the knees. We were delighted to crawl into the taxi and get driven all the way to the hotel door. Here we met Steffie, who kindly offered to open up the spa area just for us, as it had closed before we were able to reach the hotel, and would not open until after we had to check out the next day. We were too tired at that point, and were in stead allowed to go in the spa the next day, despite having checked out at that point. We ordered some food from Steffie and got it sent up to our room, and enjoyed a meal, a nice bath and a comfortable bed. The next day, we enjoyed a very nice breakfast with champagne. Best of all was the employee cooking up omelets on order at the breakfast bar. We checked out. Stored our luggage at the hotel and went for a walk in town, before heading back to the hotel and enjoying the spa after it had opened. Steffie provided us with a key to the spa, and we were then lucky enough to be able to enjoy the spa all to ourselves. Definitely recommend using it when it opens up around noon if you have the opportunity. The infinity pool was just amazing in the sunlight and with the mountains in the background. Absolutely recommend this hotel, and a very big thank you to Steffie for the great service!

|2.89km กม.จากตัวเมืองThe worst experience. They never mention anywhere that in the snowy season the only way to get to the hotel is by gondola. Our train arrived at grindelwald at 4.18 and there was no gondola service anymore because they run out at 4 pm. We couldn't get to the hotel anymore, we contacted the staff and they didn't care, we lost the reservation, they didn't give us anything back, not even a miserable courtesy breakfast. We let ourselves be carried away by some comments where it says that it has beautiful views but the way to get there is terrible, if you don't get on the gondola before 4 pm there is no way and you can't go down to town either. I do not recommend it at all. Ay The end we stayed at the derby hotel because there was no other place and that was great, everyone was very friendly, the room was excellent, it was right next to the station, I would return 100 times more with them.

Breakfast - don’t have much options.
Location - need to walk up to 10mins from Grindelwald station to the hotel. ( not recommended to those with heavy and big size luggage as there’s quite a-lot of upslope)
Eat - there’s one Chinese restaurant right below this hotel, name : Jasmine Garden, had my two meals there, not bad

The Konzett family runs their historic, charming boutique hotel in the heart of the village, convenient to everything including the train station. The hotel is a thoughtfully appointed, subtly luxurious hotel with super friendly and professional staff. This was the first European trip for our grandchildren, and the staff made certain it would be a trip of a lifetime for them. The Hotel Kreuz & Post was the perfect choice for both the adults and children. The staff is top drawer--professional, kind, extra accommodating and everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. Highest recommendation for an authentic stay in the Swiss Alps. Kudos to all the Konzetts and staff!

|1.26km กม.จากตัวเมืองI stayed in Double Room Economy for 3 nights. The room did not look anything like in the photos (attached are a photo of my room and the photos from ***********). The room was outdated and not modern as in the photos. It was also situated under the roof and was very hot during the night, even with all the windows open. I barely could sleep because of the heat. I complained to the reception on the first day, asking to change a room to another one based on the above. The man at the reception told me that the hotel was full that day so it was not possible. After having left towards my room, I realised that the room could be changed the next day. I returned to the reception to suggest this and the man was visibly annoyed but said that he would check and get back to me later. He did not try to reach out to me during the stay.

They upgraded my hotel room from single to view room i think, the landscape from the window, The Eiger mountain was super fantastic. Amazing hotel, super recommended
호텔 싱글룸으로 예약했는데 뷰룸으로 업그레이드 해주셨어요! 싱글룸은 주차장뷰라서 걱정했는데 문 열자마자 아이거북벽이 짠 보여서 너무너무 좋았음. 비수기라 좀 괜찮은 가격에 이용했는데, 다음에도 또 머물고 싶을 정도로 좋은 곳임. 직원들도 친절하고 조식도 맛있음! 아 근데 호텔청소를 좀 일찍함 9시~11시 사이에 호텔청소를 하니 알아두시길! 호텔 체크아웃할때 직접만든 아이스티까지 주시더라구요 감동쓰

|0.69km กม.จากตัวเมืองEiger Lodge Chic - Grindelwald: I didn’t realize that the Eiger Lodge was located in Grindelwald Grund – Terminal, not in the heart of Grindelwald. Having noted that, I must say that our 7 nights at the lodge with a room and balcony facing Mt Eiger and sumptuous breakfast, I was happy for my mistake. The lodge is near the Terminal from where we purchased tickets and left via cable car for the Top of Europe – Jungfrau, and took the Mannlichen - Wengen cable cars, as well as the main Grindelwald Terminal train station. There is also a ‘shuttle train’ which runs between Grindelwald Grund and the main Grindelwald town. It’s also a few steps away from the lodge (on the other side). The owner and staff are very personable and very helpful. The lodge is an interesting mix of hostel and hotel. We were in the newly opened ‘Chic’ section. Waking up to those incredible views from our balcony was priceless. Their laundry facility is somewhat limited for the number of guests. Line-up is via the honor system – first come / first can use it. The Eiger Lodge also runs a nearby campsite (5 minute walk). Breakfast can be enjoyed inside or outside. The lodge has an outdoor restaurant (open evenings) with covered and uncovered seating. We ate there several times – good food / limited menu / cold beer. The lodge provides all guests with a free bus pass. We used ours to get to the town of Grindelwald, so we could take the cable car to Grindelwald First, where we also hiked to Bachalspsee and met the contented Swiss cows. Highly recommended.

|0.1km กม.จากตัวเมืองFrom the moment we arrived by train…and walked the 400 feet from the train to this hotel, we knew we were in the right place at the right time. This hotel feels traditionally Swiss, with a spa, pool, and food offering that is decidedly modern. Perfectly located for awesome day trips to the surrounding areas. Our room was clean and spacious. The huge bath tube saved the day after many of the hikes we took from this location, central to the JungFrau region. Reservation and check-in was super easy. The front desk team couldn’t have been more professional, welcoming, and ready to help make our trip the best it could be. Special mention goes out to Andras….Front desk guy, and our favorite concierge of all time. Every morning, I would go to Andras and say, “Andras, today we’d like to go to (fill in the blank with a typical tourist trap)” He would say, “No you don’t. You’ll have a much better time (insert amazing, fun-filled, off-the-beaten-path adventure.)” It happened every day and we had a blast. He was able to read our energy, and give us perfect suggestions! Thank you Andras and Miriam (who also made us feel right at home) Breakfast was to die for. Although there were quite a few very large tourist groups, the hotel gave us independent hotel guests a more private and quiet space. We ate our evening meals that the hotel as well. It was never boring or repetitious. One night Raclette in the cozy bar area. Another night in the main dining area. Our favorite night was in Restaurant Schmitt, enjoying a chef’s course menu. Executive Chef Markus Handau, prepared an innovative and creative symphony of courses. Each one more exciting than the last. Our favorite servers, Gabriel and Julio made every meal enjoyable! They were friendly and authentic and told us stories of their own day-to-day lives in Switzerland, even though home was Brazil and Portugal. The Spa team were amazing as well. They kept the facilities neat and clean. And I had a terrific massage the day we arrived. It was also so nice to go to the Wednesday Night Summer Streetfair while staying here as well. We will definitely return to this Swiss classic!

สถานที่ตั้งอยู่ไกลจากสถานี Greendelwald โดยใช้เวลาเดินเท้า และอยู่ไม่ไกลโดยรถประจําทาง 🌟 วันแรก ปล่อยความคิดในการเดินด้วยกระเป๋าเดินทางของคุณ 🌟 เป็นการเดินป่าแนวตั้งที่คุณไม่สามารถขนสัมภาระขึ้นได้ กรุณาเช็คเวลารถบัสและรับ (สะดวกในการใช้แอพ SBB) สามารถขึ้นรถบัสได้ฟรีเพราะให้บัตรแขก Greendelwald ที่โฮสเทล (ผมไม่ได้ใช้เพราะมีคูปองจุงเฟราวีไอพี)
และเหตุผลที่ฉันร้องไห้:
1) พอไปถึงก็ไม่มีใครเลยโทรไปรอประมาณหนึ่งชั่วโมงแต่ไม่มีใครมาโดยไม่รับ - เฮ้.
2) ระหว่างรอผมโทรหาผู้ชายคนหนึ่งถามว่าทําไมโทรไป เค้าบอกว่าจะไปเช็คอินก็เลยบอกว่าวันนี้กําลังพูดอะไร พอบอกเบอร์จองผมบอกว่ารู้ก่อน ต่อมาเขาก็กระโดดออกไปขอพาสปอร์ต ไม่ได้พูดคําว่าขอโทษ (ผมโกรธมากที่นี่) ยังไงสรุป Trip.com มีรายละเอียดการจอง แต่ในระบบคุณ เขาบอกว่าไม่มีเลยขอให้เขาเช็คเอาท์แล้วเค้าบอกว่าจะทํายังไงเพราะไม่มีห้อง แต่ฉันขอโทษสําหรับทัศนคติของฉัน ดังนั้นมันไม่ใช่ทัศนคติที่ทําให้ฉันรําคาญ
3) สุดท้ายเหมือนทําห้องยากมาก เราให้ banki เลยขอโทษที่รอเป็นชั่วโมง และมันไม่ยุติธรรมมากที่ไม่มีค่าชดเชย แต่เราต้องการพักผ่อนในห้องอย่างรวดเร็ว เอากุญแจขึ้นมา แต่อย่างที่เห็นในภาพ ห้องที่ไม่มีระเบียงถูกซูม ... เห็นได้ชัดว่าห้องที่ฉันจ่ายไปมีระเบียงบนหน้าจอการจอง และฉันก็ไปพบว่าจองไว้แค่คิดเกี่ยวกับมัน เรียกว่าห้อง

The best in Grindelwald. - Delicious and varied breakfast, nice range of teas/tisanes. - Black out curtains - We stayed in one of the few apartments and there was a washer and dryer - so helpful. Everything you would need eg dishwasher tablets and plenty of plates/cups etc. - Mosquito nets on the windows for fly-free ventilation. A quick 8 min walk downhill to dinner in Grindelwald, but a more exerting walk back uphill. Note that the car charging didn’t work so well, but the reception were very helpful and allowed us to use a domestic power point (albeit it was very slow). We didn’t do half board or dinner as it seemed to be a v limited menu and fairly quiet ambiance - not suitable for our younger children. The daily menu looked lovely though.
