Skistar Lodge Trysil is located 800 Meters above sea level in Fageråsen,Trysil. Norway’s largest Ski Resort. Trysil are also a well-known bicycling area during summer. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and en-suite rooms with a flat screen. We also have multiple outlets with different variations of food & drinks. The hotel is located close to mountain bike lanes and a short car ride from “Gullia” where you can cycle in different trails, suitable for both beginners and more advanced bikers. We stayed in Trysil hotel and drove the 5 minutes up to the ski slopes for the last week of the ski season including the festival on the slopes and in town. This was agreat way to see some culture of Norway that staying in a ski apartment wouldn’t. We were a group of 5 fifty something British men. Trysil hotel is excellent for a group like this with the the bakery, craft beers and easy automated check in. It is cool without trying to be too flash/posh, it is simple and provides the basics in the room well, the staff are friendly and helped us make the most of our stay in the town. We ate in the hotel one evening and the food was excellent and everyone enjoyed the breakfasts each day.
