Yes, overall outlook was from the previous generation, but it was neat and clean. Room was definitely more spacious compared to some standard ones in Japan. The hotel aged well, chipped paint was not affecting my stay at all.
They provided iced water in a thermo and it kept well into the next day. The bathroom looked newly renovated. One day I didn’t need cleaning service and they hung clean towels in a bag by my door. Breakfast was a nice start to my day. I would return here next time if my trip needs a base around this area.

The location is very strategic, it’s only a 1-minute walk from the West Gate of JR and Nankai Shin-Imamiya Station. Dobutsuenmae Station and Don Quijote Shinsekai are about a 7-minute walk away. There is also a FamilyMart right next to the hotel.
The check-in process is very easy. They provide the information by email, and when you arrive at the hotel, you just need to enter the passcode on a touchscreen at the entrance. The room key is also taken from a box next to the room, which can be opened using the code provided by email.
The room we stayed in was actually for four people, but since there were only three of us and we had a lot of luggage, the room felt quite narrow, even for three people. All the room facilities were brand new and, of course, very clean.
We stayed on the 13th floor with a nice city view, but the room faced the train tracks, so every time a train passed by, the sound could be heard clearly inside. In other words, the room was not very soundproof.
The kitchen facilities were complete, and all the equipment was brand new, including a very sharp knife that injured my mother’s hand three times. The bathroom was quite good, and the room cleaning supplies were complete, such as tissues and trash bags.
Staying here for 5 days was quite pleasant, and we never had any difficulties during our stay. The hotel’s response was also quite fast whenever I asked something. Overall, I was happy staying here.

For families with young children, I'd advise caution, as the walk back after a day of shopping might just make you want to stay in. Skip the hotel breakfast; at 100 RMB per person, you'd get far better value by simply grabbing something from a convenience store. The drinks selection at the happy hour/lounge was decent, but the snack options were very sparse. The room was only cleaned once during our four-day stay. What's more, upon check-in, we found the room to be quite dirty; the crevices of the sofa near the window and the corners of the bed were filthy. All in all, I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Installations and the concept is amazing.
The room is spacious with amazing city view. The bed is huge and super comfortable, also pillows are kinda clouds. Loved that.
The reception always ready to help. But at the check out hour there’s a long line, so to avoid it I checked out earlier.
That was pros. Now cons.
Cleaning service always forgets something. Like one day I didn’t find cotton buds, another day they didn’t put the toilet paper etc. For such a class of the hotel it’s unacceptable.
Also there’s no iron and iron desk in a room so you should ask to bring it and if it’s peak hour you should wait some hours. Unacceptable again.
Location isn’t really wow because all the restaurants and activities and shopping are away and at the peak hours the subway is super crowded because the hotel located in the business area.
Overall, the hotel is really nice but cons are bigger so I would not stay there again.
Shinsaibashi area looks more attractive for me, also there’s another Candeo in that area so next time I’ll try to stay there.

Disadvantage 1: It is far from the subway station (Nanhaianli/Tianxiachawu), which takes about 15 minutes to walk, which undoubtedly increases the burden for special forces (30 minutes more walking every day)
The second shortcoming: the sound insulation is not very good. At night, there will be Japanese ghost-fire boys riding motorcycles on the street next to you, which will affect your sleep, but the probability of this happening is low (25%). The most serious shortcoming is the following
The third shortcoming: the bedroom curtains provide almost no light blocking. I don't know what material it is. Although it has two layers, it does not provide any sun protection at all (maybe because the area is not enough?). I am woken up by the bright sunlight at five or six every morning, so I have to buy an eye mask and earplugs to fall asleep.
I hope the hotel will seriously improve! It is especially recommended to replace the curtains! First, do the most basic things of the hotel well so that guests can get a good sleep, and then consider other things.

Only complaint is the small room size, as expected from Japan, and the lack of an in-room study desk, but there are public desks on most floors.
Hotel Resol Trinity has earned a special place in my heart - will stay here when I revisit Osaka.

The amenities were comprehensive, and the washing machine, in particular, was incredibly convenient. It was such a relief not to have to hand-wash clothes while on the go, and having a balcony to dry clothes on made things even easier.
I only packed two outfits for this trip to Japan. After checking in, I immediately headed to the Life supermarket just around the corner to stock up, where I discovered many useful daily essentials. I picked up all sorts of food every day, and the prices were quite reasonable. Cooking Wagyu beef I bought there myself was an absolute steal!
Transportation was incredibly convenient. Tamatsukuri Station was only about a ten-minute walk away, and Morinomiya was also within easy walking distance. I even spotted an SL63 parked right downstairs!

USB outlets made it easy to charge our devices and the downstairs lounge was perfect to stop in for our delicious breakfast onigiri, midday snack or nighttime drinkies.
Staff were so helpful when we arrived early so we could store our bags and immediately go sightseeing. Location is great and you’re so close to shopping and eating places as well as the train station nearby too. The icing on the cake was the cool animatronic dinosaurs at check in.
Cannot fault my stay here at all and will definitely come back here next time I’m in Osaka.

Check-in and check-out are done by robot-dinosaur figures, which looks quite unique. You could also call for an employee, in case you prefer it that way.
Location
Hotel has a good location - fairly close to the railway station, so going to Nara and Kyoto will not be a problem. Also really close to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, if you are into that kind of activity. Personally, a downside to it is that it is in Americamura, and people looking for a more traditional experience might find that not ideal.
Only once have we heard any noises from the partiers, and by 10pm it already was quiet, so that is very good considering the location.
Amenities and cleanliness
The cleanliness level was good.
Breakfast
Pretty simple, fairly good. Main plate was the same every day we were there, and you could also take pastries, soup and drinks as you wanted from the buffet.
