We stayed at this hotel for four nights. A good hotel with a great location and excellent staff. The breakfast was acceptable and the rooms were clean. One of our hoskeepers was from India ” jaidul Islam” , He was very helpful, friendly and tasteful, especially designing the towels every morning, which felt very good. Thankful.

I stayed 5 days, but was seriously considering staying a couple days longer, this is how much I enjoyed the city but surely also the hotel. Since my travel itineraries were quite fixed I decided against it. But when returning to Muscat I will for sure try to stay at the Royal Tulip again. I personally liked the location since being close to the bus line 1 and 9, which is a big benefit. Having the Oman Avenues mall close by surely also is beneficial for quickly getting the things one needs when traveling, or just a quick bite when not in the mood for restaurants. The room was big and clean. Good bed and pillows. Very friendly and helpful staff, everywhere. And on top of it a wonderful pool area at the roof withe a great view over Muscat. Wonderful, I will be back!

When I came after midnight (it was already Monday 27.03.2023) there were 3 men at the reception. All kind and helpful. One kindly accompanied me to the room. I'd assume he was a trainee. There was some noise at night that woke me up at night. Not sure where it was coming from, but probably from the corridor. I'd expect 4* hotel to be kind of sound proof like other hotels of that range are. When I was checking out at 7 AM the same day, I politely left the key card at the reception and greeted the receptionist, but he didn't seem to be interested in my presence. There was a grumpy and brusque receptionist at that time (short, well-groomed man). Such people shouldn't work in hospitality! In addition, when I was leaving the reception, he sighed deeply and out loud.. Such a frustrated person.. Breakfast was below the average for 4* hotels.

We stayed in triple room for a night here. 6 was well-sized for us, but there was literally no view. The window opened to the wall of the nearby building. There were also no slippers for the bathroom. We had to call twice and wait for nearly an hour for them to be delivered. The beds were comfy, and we had a nice night's sleep. The bathroom and the room were overall clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent for this hotel. There were good options to cater everyone's needs. However, what happened in the breakfast room was totally indecent and inhumane. An Omani, who seemed to be the owner or manager of the hotel, physically attacked an employee and shouted bitter words at him, threatening him with his words . The employee was gentle enough not to react, but the Omani's attitude, shouting, and bad words ruined everybody's breakfast in the room.

The players stayed here or in the nearby City Seasons where the swimming pool was bigger and the gym was better and there were also more shops around. I had a comfortable room with an excellent housekeeper Yohana who made my bed the way I liked it and made sure my room was spotlessly clean. Anne on reception was always very helpful and gave me a good tip about moving away from the hotel entrance to get a better price on the Oman taxi application which I advise everyone to use as the taxis have no meters and the Omani drivers try to cheat foreigners all the time asking up to ten times the price for a trip. Always check the price first on the application. The players were on an all-inclusive basis. The food was fairly good and the restaurant staff kept the dining room very clean.

The Muscate Holiday Hotel was very good and especially its restaurant and buffet service. I must say the deserts were always varied and the fruit displayed in a very creative way. The entrance Hall and the reception area were too shiny for my personal taste, but contrasted with the bedrooms whose decoration was sober.

I stayed at the hotel 3 nights. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Both breakfast and dinner was really good. Nice pool with great view. Also a bar at the pool. It is a big mall with a big supermarked next door, and mall of Oman just up the street. You can also take a look at a big mosque up the street wich is really nice at night with beautiful lights. I recomend this hotel!

I stayed for three or four nights. The hotel is a little remote and, in May, the outside temperature too high however I slept well, I liked the Belgian and Thai restaurants and enjoyed the gym. As ever, people matter more than places. I was cheered by Jennifer’s friendly greeting at breakfast, Jay was prompt to resolve my urge for chocolate and, above all I must praise Khaled who calmly helped with what was, for me, a printing crisis.

Wir haben in dem Hotel 5 Tage übernachtet und hatten zusätzlich einen Mietwagen. Es gibt Parkplätze davor und man kann das Auto entspannt da abstellen, ohne wird es schwierig da alles mit öffentlich Verkehrsmitteln viel länger dauert. What a wonderful luxury break we’ve had at the Kempinski Hotel Oman. The staff in all areas of the hotel go above and beyond to meet your needs and requests. The giant pillows feel like you are sinking into a giant cloud of marshmallow. Ice cold bottles of water are regularly replenished by friendly pool staff. We highly recommend this hotel, it’s a short drive from the airport, and a five minute walk to a beautiful marina where you can access boats to go scuba diving and explore the beautiful marine life in the crystal clear sea. Oman and this hotel is a treasure that will not disappoint. We look forward to returning.!
