I stayed at this hotel for one night as a quick stopover, and it was perfect for my needs. The hotel is situated right across from the beautiful Crystal Palace Garden and is easily walkable to numerous great local spots. I was also impressed by the staff's thoughtfulness. They proactively sent me a list of recommended local eateries and quickly responded to my questions before I arrived. My room was comfortable and well-equipped. I appreciated having an adjustable air conditioner and a nice, hot shower. They also provided free snacks, a coffee machine, and thoughtful additions like books and board games in the common area. It is important to know that this is a renovated building that preserves its original features. While this adds to its charm, it means there is no elevator. I was lucky to book a ground-floor room, which I strongly recommend if mobility is an issue or if you have heavy luggage. As is common with older architecture, the sound insulation isn't the best. I didn't find it overly bothersome in my room, but sensitive sleepers should be aware. In my opinion the hotel offers excellent value for money and a genuine experience.

One of the best and the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The interior is very beautiful, the entire story wall was impressive, and the furniture is beautiful, there’s a kitchen with plenty much everything if you want to cook and a comfortable bed. Altogether the design of the hotel and the concept are really cool. I read the book about the Alameda street they put in the room and was very impressed with the research and effort that was put into the hotel. Location is the best, close to pretty much everything, and Aliados metro station. I totally recommend Libere Porto Laranjais and would be happy to stay there again, but maybe in summer next time:) December is a bit cold, I needed to put in the air conditioner all the time:)

Lo mejor es su ubicación a pocos metros de la iglesia San Ildefonso, muy cerca de la estación São Bento, Rua Santa Catarina, avenida Aliados y mercado Bolhão, realmente para una visita corta está perfecto porque llegas a todos los puntos de interés en breve. Además está al lado del Café Santiago con las mejores francesinhas. En cuanto a las instalaciones del hotel, se entra por escaleras, no tiene ascensor por lo que no hay accesibilidad para personas con movilidad reducida, y el cartel de la entrada está borrado, por lo que cuesta ubicarlo, la atención del personal es buena; nos dieron una habitación con cama doble + cama individual, vimos que había otras mejores pero por el precio que pagamos no nos quejamos; el baño es pequeño y el lavamanos está afuera del baño, esto me resultó práctico, es un hotel para ir a dormir y ya. Cómo punto positivo, tienen colchas extras y como negativo, las paredes estaban manchadas por el roce de equipajes y no la han pintado en un buen tiempo, lo que hace que se vea sucio, pero la habitación, baño y ropa de cama estaban limpias, solo las paredes dan ese aspecto. La nuestra daba a patio interior y dormimos súper bien, además después de caminar todo el día, el cansancio gana.

Super nice and cozy room, however its supposed to run as Airbnb not a Hotel, you wont get cleaning services during your stay, water for the first day even and the communication to access on checkin is troublesome-like airbnb. - Checkin/out: They didnt send the checkin information in advance, and expecting you to write them an email to get it (when you dont expect to do so for a hotel-services) - same on checkout. Hope they received the email I sent via trip.com - Room type: The room isn’t the same as in the room photo when you booked, its another one. The one we stayed has no sofa and balcony. - No water even on the first day, cook yourself by using the kettle or drink from tap (which not recommended in portugal) - Cleaning: The room is clean and niche, but dont expect any cleaning services during the whole stay. - Noise from the street: mostly day and night as its in very central walking street.
