The space
The house is a saltbox style house restored back to its original characteristics. This house has a perfect view of Fortune Harbour. Sit and gaze at all the Harbor has to offer, or use its perfect location to sightsee what the community has to offer. The original staircase still exist in the house to access the top floor. For some, the stairs may prove difficult with mobility issues. There are some trails in the area that would be for more of the intermediate to expert hikers as they are not well maintained or marked. The church, that is situated behind the property is the center piece of the town!
Fortune Harbour is a very sheltered harbor for the kayaking enthusiast. Sunrises and sunsets from the harbor are some of the most beautiful sights to see.

This place was really cool. It was a school turned into a Motel units. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room we had slept eight people. It was huge. It felt like home.
Lots of parking
Two couples and motorcycles is what we were and the accommodations were perfect
Beautiful Trail, that led to an awesome sunset as you can see in the picture
JJason BogartFor the money, there should be a lot more. The front desk check in was friendly but not informative at all. It was just take your key and off you go. I had to go back 3 times to get more information about wifi PW etc. For a lodge next to the hill, there is little to do. They should be providing opportunities to rent a bike or go for more than a 10min hike to a waterfall. Pretty and all, but virtually nothing to do there. So don't expect it. There was a water boiling advisory and I asked about water and the front desk said there was water bottles in the room, but there wasn't, so I had to go back to the fron desk and bring them back myself. Kinda annoying.
